1 Free Psychic Question

Interest in psychic readings has grown steadily over the past few years. This might have something to do with the creative problem solving that people are seeking from the financial and personal issues caused by a tough economy. It could also be due to the rise in spiritual awareness that seems to have organically developed out of the interconnectivity of the new, integrated global community that has come from the growth of the internet. Regardless of how they came to be so popular, it is now very easy to find someone offering a free psychic reading to introduce new clients to this diverse and potentially beneficial practice; but is it really worth it?

Where are the free psychics when you needed them? It has happened to all of us at one time or another: an ankle twist...a knee injury...a wrist bent too far. Could a psychic have forewarned you that there was one more step and the bottom of the stairs? While you could have used some fortune-telling before you injured yourself, now all you need is the healing touch. Here are some tips that no amount of free psychics can provide.

Lito Sheppard sprained his ankle a year ago in the season opener at Houston. On Sunday, Sheppard sprained his MCL and likely would miss this season opener. As you can see, sprains can be a painful and somewhat crippling problem. If you have ever sprained your ankle, you know that it can be a real problem.

Even if you are doing sports like Pétanque or Tug-o-war or Rapid Ball or Sea kayaking just for fun, you can get a painful sprain. This is the point where you wish you could have free psychics tell you which activity you should avoid.

What Happens When You Get a Sprain

Your joints are located where bones are joined. The joints are enclosed by a fibrous capsule. The capsule is further strengthened by ligaments which are thicker collections of fibers. The muscles and tendons that cover the joint give more strength to the joint.

When a joint is pushed out of its normal position, some of those fibers, joints and muscles are damaged. Some of those fibers are indeed ruptured. When you sprain your ankle, you also tear some of the capillaries in the joint, so there will be bruising. Other tissue damage causes swelling.

The Best Treatment for Your Sprain

There are two significantly useful treatments that will minimize bruising and swelling. Ice is truly helpful in decreasing swelling and bruising in a sprained joint. Ice will decrease the blood flow to a sprain. Ice makes the blood vessels in the area to constrict.

Another very helpful preventative treatment is the pressure dressing. Applying a bit of pressure to the sprain will help diminish the blood and fluid from leaking out of blood vessels and tissues.

Sprain Recovery

Over the counter (OTC) anti-inflammatory medications can help get rid of swelling, bruising, and soreness more quickly. Ibuprofen and Naproxen are good examples.

After the first two days, start using heat. Heat will dilate the blood vessels and help with healing. Often, alternating heat and cold will stimulate healing even more.

Even if you are not some big name athlete, and even if you don't participate in oina or golf or endurance racing or skijoring or marbles, you can get wrist sprains. Use these easy therapies to help you get better painlessly. And next time, look into some free psychics to help you avoid any more injuries.
